Thanks for the yarn link, I'm a knitter so will definitely check that out. Even with shipping I still pay 1/2 of what I would if I got them from Sarah Silks or an ETSY shop. You do need to dye them yourself, but it is really easy. I blogged about it here: http://dotingondeirdre.blogspot.com/2011/07/purple-mountains-and-raspberry-river.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2159623148345695836.post-1639498345840796882011-12-26T21:50:35.180-05:002011-12-26T21:50:35.180-05:00Thank for commenting Dee! I get beeswax for candles and crafts from Hampton Honey Bees (http://www.hamptonapiary.com/). At the Fall Fest I bought a few wooden toys from a local vendor but I cannot remember their name- let me get back to you on that one. Sadly that is about it locally. I do go to Michaels and Ben Franklin. BF has new needle felting section and I find peg people and other small wood odds and ends at M. I also use an ordering co-op. It is called Cedar Ring Circle and I love it (http://stores.cedarringcircle.com/StoreFront.bok). You do have to pay a membership fee but it does pay for itself, especially if you want specialty toys (like Grimms or Ostheimer) or woolens!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2159623148345695836.post-4187084155508266802011-12-26T17:58:10.556-05:002011-12-26T17:58:10.556-05:00What a beautiful Christmas day!
